Midwives perform the postnatal visit and Drs. Allan or Joslin will perform the 8 week baby check up. They will also give the first set of immunisations; subsequent vaccinations being given by the nurses. Don't forget that your health visitor and midwife are at hand to offer advice in those crucial first few weeks.
